SPA 1 runs a parish based bereavement support group providing follow up to funerals, and works as a volunteer in a local mental health drop-in.

SPA 2 runs parenting courses within the local church alongside being a member of the local hospital Chaplaincy team. 

SPA 3 co-ordinates his church’s pastoral care team / contributes to thinking about ways of responding to pastoral care needs within church and neighbourhood /acts as a link person with the local community centre.

SPA 4 worships in her local church but exercises her SPA ministry as a volunteer within a centre providing support and care for asylum seekers and refugees.

SPA 5 is part of the planning group for the local Community Festival. She has also provided training for her church’s welcoming team, and has an ongoing role in developing ways of integrating new church members.

SPA 6 is a governor for a local secondary school. He set up and continues to convene a support group for carers.
